Weekly Highlight April 21-27

Life happens so fast and I just want to catch and enjoy all of it!  I use to do Monthly Highlights, but a LOT of things can happen in a month so I decided I'm going to try to do Weekly Highlights.

Easter was great.  Holidays with a little one are so much more fun!  They love everything! haha The Easter Bunny left Olivia some adorable little Easter toys and a few pairs of new shoes.  She thought it was so fun to put the toys in the shoes, just like the Easter Bunny did, and has been doing it all week!

The only thing that made her smile in this picture was having her Bunny and saying "Hop, hop, hop!"

She got a cute new Easter dress that she looked so darn cute in with her gold bow and gold moccasins!

On her second easter egg hunt Olivia learned to call to eggs (haha) and find them and then pick them up and put them in her basket.

After Easter Dallin had a work trip for half of the week, but we still had a few fun things happen!

We went to Costco!  I'm on a mission to find pretty healthy and filling snacks because I'm a huge snack-er.  We had to repurchase a pack of Steak Strips! These things are delicious and everything you want in beef jerky.  Soft, flavorful and high quality!

We also tried the Dark Chocolate Nuggets with Coconut and Super Seeds.  They are so good!  An easy and better option for a treat!  I can't find them online but you can find them by the snack foods.

For mutual this week the YW and YM played Human Hungry Hippos!  It looked so cool and dangerous! haha Luckily no one got hurt.  If you'd like more mutual ideas let me know.  We've had several fun activities that I'd love to share.

We went to Gardner Village and found all the adorable fairies in the Woodland Fairy Festival!  Seriously our favorite time of year at Gardner Village.  The fairies will be there until June 15th so be sure to stop in.  We saw uncle Cody at work and we loved it!!

She LOVES Brittany and her family!

She also LOVES her grandma so, so much!

Olivia wants to be outside ALL. THE. TIME.  so one day we ate lunch outside.

She's been into curling up on my old desk mat and pretending she's asleep.  She's so darn cute!

THIS talk by Elder Hales is such a good one!  I also read THIS, this week and loved it.

Olivia loves getting into the fridge.  So when she found raspberries at Grandma's she just hung out there till they were gone.

Dallin and I went to the first ever Utah Dough Show and it was so much fun!  This was only a little under half of what we got to sample at the show today.

Olivia also got to ride with our sweet neighbor in her little toy car.  I felt like I was watching something that's going to happen in about 10 or 15 years, but in a real car. haha

We also made my favorite peanut butter brownie bites for a farewell.  I used the recipes for the brownie bite base and the peanut butter ganache you can find on this post HERE, but I used my all time favorite peanut butter frosting you can find on THIS post.  It was a busy and fun week!

April Print Love Notes

I absolutely love Easter.  I always have.  My mom decorates her house so perfectly and makes it so much fun!  I also love reflecting on our Savior and His life.

I like all the typical Easter things like easter eggs, bunnies and chocolates like any other person out there, but I wanted some prints that help us remember what Easter is really about too.
These prints are great for Love Notes to ministering sisters, friends, family, neighbors, or church students or friends.

I tried to make a large print size as well as a small one that can be cut and attached to something little or used in a frame like the bigger one.  It really doesn't even need a frame if you'd prefer.  It can even be hung on the fridge with a magnet.  I put the large print in a frame from IKEA that was super affordable.  Walmart also has affordable frames.  I just love the style of IKEA frames.  I use these white frames all the time.  Also take out the glass layer for less of a glare.  Just beware that your print is exposed when you do this.

I also love this frame from IKEA.  I seriously use it all the time for home decor and parties!  I also love this cute little garland you can make yourself with cardstock, twine, glue and a paper punch like THIS.

Or even attach one of these prints to a homemade wreath!  I made this wreath all from things from Dollar Tree.  The wreath base and about 6-8 rose bundles from Dollar Tree and some hot glue was all I needed.

Or even a pack of pictures of Christ would be such a lovely little gift.  They can choose which picture they like the most and display it for the season or longer!  Something like THIS or you can find the exact one I got at Seagull Book.

A little decoration of fake or real flowers would be so perfect for spring too!

I love this miniature marble Christus.  You can find it HERE!  It's the perfect size for really anywhere!  I love that it is so small and wonderful!

This is my absolute favorite picture of Christ.  You could give your favorite or their favorite picture of Christ with one of these printables too.  Even just a print would be so wonderful, it doesn't have to be framed or large it can even be a miniature picture.

This printable is perfect to remember to focus on what matters most about Easter, but it can incorporate those fun things about Easter too!

Or any kind of Bunny candy like these Sweetart Bunnies!

These Bubblegum eggs were always so fun when I was a kid!

A whole pack would be so sweet for a family with lots of kids or even just one would be adorable!

I love individualized things like these little packages of Cadbury Mini Eggs.
Makes self control easy! :)

If you haven't tried Tootsie Roll Eggs they are a must.
You'll either love them or hate them but give them a try and see which side you're on.
I hear you can find them at Dollar Tree, or you can get them HERE.

Bunny sprinkles are another fun option that can actually be used on Easter too!

Or a small picture of Christ would be completely perfect for this.  You can find this size picture at Seagull Book or Desert Book.

Or give both a picture of Christ and a small little treat.

So many options, so hopefully there is enough choices for everyone.
