Pamper Love Notes

After a year like 2020 I think we all deserve some pampering!  This Love Note would be perfect for thinking of you gifts, friends, loved ones, family, neighbors, or anyone that you know that has had a rough year.

I love my clear cellophane bags and use them all the time.  Use bag filler or crinkle cut paper in the bottom then fill to your hearts content!  Some of my favorite pampering essentials lately include:  a pumice stone, blue light glasses, bath bombs, shower cap, sheet masks, scrunchies, and hand lotion.

I got most of these for Christmas and have honestly loved them all!  I love gifts like that, things you actually use and love!

I also love the options of a cute clutch that can be used later in a purse or home to contain lots of little things, also making it perfect for gifts!  Fill it with my favorite NYX Butter Glosses, bath bomb or EOS lip butter.

Seriously you can make this as cheap or expensive as you want.  Think a gift card for a manicure, pedicure, massage, facial, etc.  they all sound so dreamy right!

December Love Note-He is the GIFT

I wanted to round out the year with sharing one last monthly Love Note.  I'm not sure what next year has in store for this little old blog.  I have lots of ideas with recipes, parties, kid activities and so on...so let's see how they all turn out.  Instead of monthly I might do Seasonal/Quarterly Love Notes.  We'll see!  They just take a really long time to create and post.  If you use my Love Notes let me know and I'll be more motivated to keep going!

This month I'm sharing an oldie but a goodie!  I made these for my Singles Ward Relief Society when I was in the RS Presidency for Christmas gifts for each of the women.  It was simple but reminded them of the true meaning of Christmas which I love!

I got some Peppermint Joe Joe's at Trader Joe's and dipped them in milk or white chocolate, then topped them with different toppings, crushed peppermint, drizzled chocolate, etc. BE WARE of the Gluten Free Peppermint Joe Joe's!  We accidentally got a box a year ago and they are nasty! If you're not near a TJ"s obviously use Oreo's!  I used THESE bags to package each individual cookie.  then just tape the top down in the back.  I separated the picture from the cookies so if people had aversions or allergies they could choose to take one or not.

Along with one dipped cookie I gave them a small 3X4 picture of Christ, I found a set from Seagull Book, I found some online HERE, or I've been able to find them in store near the pictures.  Just get a small variety pack and it will make it super easyI probably got 2 packs of pictures for under $5, which covered the main cost of the whole gift.  Then wrapped it with a small ribbon to look like a gift.  They could put the picture anywhere from their journal, car, room, fridge, the list could go on and on.

You can find the "He is the GIFT!" tag-HERE!

Lemons & Chocolate

August has come and gone and I don't even know how that's possible!  This year is flying by and yet I feel like we're stuck in this crazy corona-filled space.  It's going to be a great day when this pandemic is just a thing kids learn about in history books.

Pandemic or not you always need chocolate.  I think even more so during pandemics! haha Even if you can't hand back the "lemons" of life, you can always try to find some sweetness, or give some sweetness!  Chocolate is a great option!

I love this Pound Plus bars at Trader Joe's!  Perfect for all the baking coming up this fall.

Don't have a TJ's near by?  A candy bar from the grocery store could still work perfectly with this tag.

But if you are at Trader Joe's get these Toffee Chips!! Seriously just get them and love every single one!  They are so delicious!

I love the mix of chocolate bars to make a fun gift!  Perfect for ministering sisters, ministering families, teachers, friends, family, everyone, anyone!

TJ's has so many fun chocolate things like these chocolate crisps, chocolate covered potato chips and these yummy peanut butter cups!

Also LOVING these S'mashing S'mores!  Seriously so good, the perfect bite of s'mores without the campfire and all the mess.

I love that you can pair this tag with anything chocolate OR lemon!  Or both!
So many wonderful options!

Like a lemon bar mix and a chocolate candy bar, fun pairing!

Or the best ever chocolate chips, my absolute favorite!  YUM!

Why don't you make it good quality chocolate while we're at it, like some Lindt truffles or chocolate bars.

These Lindt Lindor truffles are so delicious and perfect for snacking.

I loved this little package I made for a graduating senior this last June.  I put lemon candies at the bottom to tie in the lemon and chocolate theme.  Loved the matching colors too, details really do matter!

Or if you're avoiding the stores like me, make a batch of cookies and give a plate of homemade cookies!

This tag seriously has so many options!

If you'd like to print the "When life gives you lemons hand them back..." tag you can find it HERE!

I recommend downloading the printable for best quality.

PINK-ing of You! May Love Note

I had a few other Love Notes in mind for this time and hopefully will get them up soon, but I just had to share this one first.  It's just so fun and bright, and just what we all need right now!

Whether if its for a friend, ministering sister, Mom, sister, grandma, teacher, neighbor...the list could go on and on-this tag works for everyone!  Who doesn't love PINK things too!? haha

I've been experimenting with macarons and thought they would go just perfectly together!  Luckily this batch worked.  The stars must have been aligned that day or something! haha

It's amazing what some cute packaging and ribbon can do to any size gift!

I always have a stash of these cellophane bags and a variety of ribbons (thanks Mom!!) on hand at all time just for moments like this when you have someone on your mind and can hurry and whip up a little gift.  These boxes are super cute too and these little favor boxes are so fun!

I made these macarons but there are some at Trader Joe's that are so affordable and delicious!  But wouldn't homemade sugar cookies or a Swig or Crumbl sugar cookie with that signature pink frosting be so cute!

Perfect for any woman in your life on Mother's Day or Graduating seniors in high school or college that are missing their last little bit of their senior year.

The sky is the limit to the pink treats and little gifts you could give!  There are always Good & Plenty, Gum, SweetTarts, Bubble Yum, and Trident Gum.  They even have a full bag of just pink Starburst!  Delicious!!

And don't ever forget the Watermelon Sour Patch candies!  They are so delicious!  It would be so cute and appreciated with just one of these ideas but how fun would it be with a few wrapped in a little bag or box!?

One of my favorite ideas is to fill a little pink bag with lots of pink makeup or purse essentials.  You could go as pricey or as affordable as you'd like.  There are some amazing drugstore options like these NYX butter glosses (Link to Target HERE!)!  They are my all time favorite lip product.  Cute nail polish, blush (linked favorite drugstore option), and pink highlighter (linked drugstore option) would be so fun too!  Oh and a pink eye shadow palette.

Also love these Almay glosses!

I shrunk the tag so you could just give one little thing too.  Fun Washi tape makes it easy and adorable!

Here's a closer look at those Pink NYX butter glosses.  My top three favorite pink shades are- Eclair, Cupcake and Strawberry Parfait!

Or wrap some twine or ribbon around a pink nail polish bottle and you're set!

There are seriously so many awesome options!  I think at this time people need to know more than ever before how much you love them.  Life can be so hard but others can help even just by dropping off something as simple as a little Love Note!

I suggest you download the file before printing for accurate layout and design!

January Star Love Notes

The start of the new year is always such a party right!? I just had to make some Love Notes to share the party and I couldn't stop thinking of stars!  I recently made a Cookies and Cream cake with black details and also pops of bright colors.  That was my inspiration for this cute prints.

First is the cute little goal banner!  So easy to make and then hang up where you can see every day!  I packaged one up to give to one of my adorable ministering sisters, with a cute little tag.

I love that you can double up these little tags to make an extra adorable pop to your little gift.

I also made this cute little print out that's very similar to the one above but with a sweet little message.

These tags can be with any New Years decor, party supplies, Star candy like Starburst, etc.

I loved this Happy New Year balloon banner that you can reuse year after year.

I also made a batch of Rice Krispie Treats (find my recipe HERE) and let them cool on a cookie sheet, so they were thinner then average.  Then I cut them out using a star cookie cutter.  And drizzled or dipped them with melted white chocolate, and quickly put on some sparkly gold or white sprinkles.  THIS is actually the exact sprinkle set I used.  I let them harden and then put a star krispie (or a few) with some individually wrapped Starbursts.

Heck even give them a star cookie cutter so they can make their own star treats! haha
THIS set is so fun!

So many tags in this little bundle that can be used interchangeably or all together.  My cute mom always wants a whole set to display around her house or in her craft room.

I also made a few pages of star prints that are just black and white so you can save on ink!  Just print  on some bright cardstock paper!

I have LOADS of clear bags and I'm so grateful I do!  If you need to stock up on some too THESE are similar to the ones I have.

As always don't feel like you have to attach a gift or something to these tags.  They can totally be given alone!

With a little treat is just the cherry on top! ;)

I forgot to include one of the prints in this shot but BOY aren't they so cute and bright!

Happy New Year!  Let's start it off right by giving the people we love, care and think about some treats!  The best way to let people know you care about them is to SHOW and TELL them! These little Love Notes can help you do just that!
