Banana Pudding

 
I've been making this Banana Pudding for years and I honestly can't remember where we found it.  It is definitely a keeper though, my little brother claims its his favorite dessert I make.  Which is saying something because I make a lot of desserts (I sure hope at least some of them are good! ;) ) 
 
Banana Pudding
 
8 oz. sour cream
 
1 (8 oz.) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
 
1 (5oz.) pkg. instant vanilla pudding mix
 
2 C. milk
 
1 (16 oz.) pkg. vanilla wafer cookies
 
4 bananas, peeled and sliced
 
In a large bowl combine sour cream, whipped topping, pudding mix and milk.  Stir well.  In the bottom of a trifle bowl or other glass serving dish, put a layer of cookies, then a layer of pudding mixture, then a layer of bananas.  Repeat until all ingredients are used.  Refrigerate until serving.
