November Ipsy Glam Bag

Rock out like a knock out!

This months Glam Bag was one of the prettiest bags I've received to date!  I love the stars! There were some definite winners inside but a few just ok products mixed in too.  Let's chat about what I received!

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara-This unique wand grabs every single lash to give amazing length, curl and volume to the lashes.  This mascara is a crowd pleaser and loved by tons of many!

Delectable by Cake Beauty sweet mint & cream ultra nourishing hand cream-This blend of shea butter, coconut oil and aloe vera is just what your dry skin is searching for.  This rich formula not only dries quickly but moisturizes your cuticles too!

Elizabeth Mott Color is Bae Lip Lacquer in Moxie Mauve-This pinky-nude liquid lip color is perfect for a day of wear!  I love that this color is flattering for everyone!

Luxie Beauty Luxie Rose Gold Small Duo Fiber Brush 524T-Every detail of this brush was well thought out, down to it's adorable rose gold handle.  This brush can be used with powders, creams and liquids and the duo fibers give you better control while applying and it lays down pigments gently so you'll never over do it.

Adesse New York Brightening Base Coat-This base coat not only protects and strengthens your nails but it also makes your nail polish color last longer and pop!

This months bag was pretty good!  I think my favorite product was the Elizabeth Mott Lip Lacquer!  If you'd like to learn more about these products or find out more about Ipsy's Glam Bags you can go HERE

He is the GIFT

He is the GIFT
I'm hoping to share a few little Christmas gifts I have given in the past to hopefully help those that need some ideas and to have them all in one place for future use!

One year I gave every member of our Relief Society a little Christmas gift.
Really it was the best one yet!  Cute, simple and really is the only gift we need!
I wanted to give a picture of Christ to each girl so I found a pack of pictures of Christ at Seagull Book and was on my way!  I made this tag with Brittany and wrapped it up with the picture in little fancy ribbons just like a little gift.
I wanted to give them all a little treat too so one night Dallin and I dipped tons of Trader Joe's Candy Cane Joe Joe's (If you haven't tried them DO! They are completely delicious!).  We used milk and white chocolate, but you could use whatever you prefer or have on hand.  Same goes for the toppings.  I crushed up some candy canes and sprinkled them on top before the chocolate had set, but you could use sprinkles, crushed Oreos, or anything really!  I drizzled some with the different chocolate for some contrast and fun flavor options too!
Then just package them up individually (like me) or in a bundle and you just made the easiest Christmas treat!

Brittany enlarged some of the tags so they could be given to anyone with a larger framed picture of Christ or even a statue of Christ.

October Highlights

October flew by.  Just like the rest of this year.  Here's the highlights for us this month!
General Conference!  This is definitely a weekend we look forward to.  My mom gave the cutest coloring binders to all of us girls so we could stay focused and enjoy conference even more!

During Priesthood session us girls had a craft night, sponsored by Bethany! ha!  She was so sweet and bought us all TONS of stuff from her work (The Wood Connection).  We had so much fun!

If you'd like to learn how to make these super simple and cute wood blocks you can go HERE!

Dallin and I are heading to Disneyland soon so we are trying to prepare by going on lots of walks!  Sometimes we have cute little walking buddies too!

Dallin had 2 business trips in October!  Total bummer.  But my cute grandma surprised me with my favorite cookies from The Store.  Mint Chocolate cookies with the top covered in chocolate.  Yes please!

I've been LOVING my calligraphy class this semester!  I'm hoping to do a post on it soon, but all I'm saying is if you have any friends getting married that need invitations addressed or quotes you'd like done-I'd love to help and get more practice!

My Mom had the cutest candy corn Halloween party!  You can find all the adorable details HERE!

Emma was Elsa for Halloween and she loved sporting the cutest little french braid aka Elsa braid throughout the month!

We got "Boo'ed" in our new house!  Made us feel right at home! :)

I received a fun (and FREE) box from Pinch Me!

I also celebrated another birthday!  Dallin and my family were so sweet!  I was definitely spoiled!

Cody gave me a 2 pound bag of my all time favorite caramel from The Chocolate Covered Wagon and a box of the prettiest chocolates.

Dallin made me breakfast in the morning and surprised me with roses delivered to our house. He also got me some of my favorite candles from Bath & Body Works and my very favorite bath bombs from Lush.  He just gets me!

Bethany surprised me with a complete hot chocolate set.  Hot chocolate is one of my favorite things too!

I also really like my cute little niece and nephew.  They (and their parents of course) gave me the cutest box of cards (another favorite) and money!

Oh and that adorable Give Thanks decoration!

My mom gave me 3 different pairs for the prettiest earrings (you guessed it-another favorite).

And this super cute jewelry holder from Hobby Lobby full of my favorite coconut chocolates.

Brandon gave me cute earrings and my favorite candy bar!  I've got such an awesome family!  We went to lunch at La Hacienda in Draper and later that night had pie and cake!

I did my first ever giveaway to celebrate Halloween!  I've already got some more ideas for future giveaways so make sure to follow me on Instagram, Facebook, and of course here! :)

Now bring on all the Christmas music and decorations! :)

October Sephora Play! Box

 The Cool Cut
Here's a mix of products that stand out from the rest.  Whether it be breakthrough formulas or indie finds.  Now is the perfect time to discover these new products before they get too cool!
Lipstix and Chill.  A fun take on a well known saying, just turned beauty.  I love their cute little pictures, especially the lipstick on this bag.
Here's what I got this month:

-Tom Ford Orchid Soleil-This deep delicious scent is perfectly warm and spicy.  With notes of Tuberose petals, cypress, and pink peppercorn; this is the ideal scent for date night!

-Skin Inc. Pure Revival Peel-Revolutionary non-abrasive peel that gently removes dullness and dead skin cells to reveal bright and renewed skin.  This Japanese brand is a favorite of many beauty addicts in Europe and Asia, especially for their awesome skincare products!

-Nudestix Intense Matte Lip + Cheek Pencil in Belle-I love that this is a multipurpose product.  This pencil can be used as a lipstick, lip liner and cheek blush.  It's a beautiful color that can be worn by many different skin tones and is just perfect for fall.

-Too Cool for School Egg Mellow Cream-First off this packaging is totally adorable! Eggs pack loads of benefits for the skin including tightening the appearance of pores, keeps skin looking healthy and firm, and encourages the production of collagen.  This cream can be used as a serum, priming moisturizer, eye cream, neck cream, and sleeping mask.

-VERB Leave-In Mist-Wash your hair and spray throughout hair after showering to leave hair feeling frizz-free and silky-soft!  I really like that this not only moisturizes and makes the hair super smooth but it also protects hair from heat styling and detangles!

-Smashbox Always On Matte Liquid Lipstick in Driver's Seat-Another great shade for fall, this liquid lipstick locks into place and is totally kiss proof.  I've never tried liquid lipstick before and this was SO amazing!  I love that with the shape of the applicator you don't need to keep getting more product it has the perfect amount already on the applicator!
I love that with Sephora's Play! I get to test a variety of products that I couldn't otherwise budget for.  Some of these products I wouldn't naturally gravitate towards, but this is usually how I find my new favorite products.
