Breadstick and Soup Recipes

We have almost every Sunday dinner with my family at my Mom and Dad's house.  It is so fun to see my family so often and hear what happened throughout the week.  I love it!

Since more and more people are coming into our family we decided we should bring a dish to help out in some way every week!

This last Sunday we had 2 different soups and I tried a new breadstick recipe.

My Mom found a Minestrone recipe and a Chili recipe from the Sister's Cafe and they were both so yummy!!

Now for the super easy and delicious breadsticks!

All you have to do is grab a bag of Rhodes rolls and let them thaw for about 3 or so hours on a baking sheet.  Once you can form them roll them out, cover and let them double in size.  Right before you throw them in the oven brush them with some melted butter and cook for 10-12 minutes in a 375 degree oven.  Once they are slightly golden pull them out and brush them again with butter and sprinkle with some garlic salt, garlic powder and Parmesan cheese.

My pictures can't do these justice.  I wish I made more just so I could have had a couple more!!

Once they sit for a bit that cheese just melts perfectly.  These will definitely be my go to simple breadsticks.  So glad I was able to tweak the recipe I found on the Rhodes website!
